Revitalize Your Body First Thing In The Morning

If you’re anything like me you might crave a cup of coffee as soon as you open your eyes in the morning. Today, I’m here to tell you to ditch your morning coffee to give your stomach and digestive tract a break.


Drinking coffee on an empty stomach can wreak havoc on your body. Coffee's acidity can disrupts your stomach’s natural pH balance, which is needed to properly breakdown and digest foods. Too much stomach acid over time can lead to damaging conditions such as heartburn, stomach ulcers, & irritable bowel syndrome. 


Start with this morning remedy that will cleanse and detox your body while providing you with the energy needed to go about your day:



Morning Detox:


  • 1/2 medium sized lemon (preferably organic)

  • 1 tablespoon of Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar  

  • 1 teaspoon of raw organic honey 

  • 1/8 teaspoon of Cayenne Pepper 

    • Give more of a kick to your morning detox water by adding another dash of cayenne

  • 1 cup of warm water

    • Add more or less water until your desired strength
