My Philosophy

My perspective on health is holistic, which means I look at how all aspects of your life are impacting your well-being.

I believe your health is impacted by more than just what you're eating. Therefore, I also take your primary foods into consideration. These are known as your relationships, career, physical activity and spirituality.

Essentially, food can be the catalyst that gets you on the road to vibrant health, however it is only one piece of the puzzle.

I view health as a vehicle, rather than a destination, that provides you with more energy, clarity and vitality needed to create your best life possible.

My intention is to help you shift your perspective on food and wellness to one that serves you so you can become the greatest version of yourself possible.

By implementing sustainable lifestyle choices that serve your mind, body and soul you will undergo a transformation that goes beyond your physical appearance.

Key Concepts We Will Explore Together

Primary Foods

Your primary foods are the areas of your life that impact your health on a daily basis. A fulfilling career, healthy relationships, regular physical exercise and elevating your spiritual awareness can nurture your soul allowing you to feel more relaxed and satisfied with your life. When your primary foods are balanced and fulfilled, dietary food becomes secondary.

You are beautifully unique with special needs, wants and desires therefore what works for me may not work for you. Personal differences such as your taste preference, body composition, metabolism and genetic background influence your food choices and overall health. One person’s food can be another person’s poison, which is why finding the foods and lifestyle behaviors that allow you to feel your best is critical for long-term success.

My Training

I received my undergraduate degree in Allied Health from the University of Connecticut in 2012. Upon graduating I pursued a career in the medical field where I would remain for two years. My experience in the western medical system helped me realize I was more interested in preventative and holistic health. In 2014, I moved from Connecticut to Florida to pursue studies in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. After one year of study I left school to focus on my health and wellbeing (learn more about my story here).

In 2016, I received my certification as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. During my time at IIN I studied over 100 different dietary theories and was taught by some of the world's leading experts in health and nutrition such as Dr. Mehmet Oz, David Wolfe, IIN's founder Joshua Rosenthal, Dr. Andrew Weil and Dr. Mark Hyman.

In 2018, I put my life in Florida on hold to travel the world for 6 months. During my travels, I spent one month in Thailand earning my Yoga Teacher and Level 1 Reiki Certifications from Marina Yoga.

Throughout the last four years I have also immersed myself in alternative methods of healing and holistic practices such as yoga, meditation, reiki, body talk, massage, acupuncture, herbal therapy and functional medicine.
